Well, since my blog is where I share my stories, complaints, pictures, feelings (well, not exactly), crap and so on, I have decided to share my 'archi-life' stories as well! =D
This shall be my very first 'official' post on my architecture life..lol~ (sound so professional..so happy..) heeee...~
I shall begin from yesterday.
When we came out from the auditorium, the first thing I noticed was this 'ninja turtle' guy standing by the door. At first, I thought it was some kind of promotion thing going on, as it happens quite often in our college.
Then, we realized the 2007 July Intake were having their presentation at the courtyard! How smart! (it was raining cats and dogs and the whole place was sort of flooded -.-")
You see, the July Intake students are now in Design Studio 1, and they got to design super hero costumes for their first assignment! As for our intake, we designed an egg-drop apparatus, which I didn't really focus much on the design part, but more to the workability. In the end, my partner and I got full marks for workability, and I-have-no-idea how much for design. -.-
Anyway, here's the 'ninja turtle' I saw by the doorway.
and this would be...er...Wolverine I think.. eheh..~
and the Gambit, from X-Men, which I obviously have no idea of who is that...but cool suit, guys! =D
and of course, the judges!
P.S - See Mr. Hong in the middle, and notice the wet floors??
Now, back to ME! XP
We're still working on Studio 2 Assignment 1 - ABSTRACTION
Building assigned: National Mosque, Kuala Lumpur.
After we have submitted our drawings, we finally decided to visit the building itself.

We visited this building so that we could UNDERSTAND it better, particularly the concept behind the design. From there, we would be able to know what to extract from the drawings, thus knowing what to focus on in our concept model.
At this point, we still can't figure out the EXACT concept yet. We had a few concepts in mind, but we all agreed that the we should focus on the 'umbrella' roof.
Problem now is, what should we draw for our diagrams?? UMBRELLAS??? =S
NOTE: THE NEXT PART HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ARCHITECTURE~
Hrmmm.....

We had our studio class earlier on. My friends and I were talking among ourselves. (quite loudly, I presume..we didn't notice)
Harn: Oi! You guys talking too loud, lah!
Mr.Hong: Girlfriends! Girlfriends! Can you please stop talking? (Imagine Tim from Project Runway speaking)
Us: *stunned* Er....
Mr.Hong: Can you please stop talking? Okay, girlfriends?? Let me hear you say 'Yes!'..Come on..say 'Yes!'
Us: Uh...O...kay....yes??
