Dying of Exhaustion.

Hello, 608th post.
It's been a really long time.

I am so bloody tired words cannot describe.
It's been a real hectic week this week and
this shall be a really wordy post explaining my week's 'hecticness'.

Sorry, only a picture of my awesome dog, celebrating his 14th birthday yesterday.
and yes, he loves fresh cream! =P

Back to my crazily awesome hectic week.

Started of with signages and construction drawings
that have been going on for the last 3 weeks already.
Signage designs for the Bintulu building were finally done,
and please be reminded that 'construction drawings' mentioned here
refers only to the signages. NOT the whole building!

Just a few plastic pieces and we're already half dead doing the drawings.
haha.
The layout actually.
AutoCAD sucks.
blehhh...~

So, Monday Tuesday, gone.
Wednesday, another full day completing the signage set.
Then dinner at Kim Bay for Yen Chew's birthday.

Thursday was, omg. so crazy!
Worked till lunch,
drove out for lunch,
headed back to office to pack,
rushed back home,
showered, packed,
headed off to Inti for UK Edu Fair,
rushed home,
grabbed packed bag,
went over to Riverside Majestic,
helped arranged goodies for dinner,
dressed up,
attended PAMSC Gala Dinner 2011,
went back hotel room to camwhore,
went up to the 18th floor for VIP After-party,
met drunk Alvin (ex-lecturer), Dr. Tan Loke Mun, PAM President and Nippon Paint guy,
then headed back home at midnight.

*phew!*

Friday was an awfully sleepy day for me.
I almost died trying to stay awake in the office.
Not forgetting to mention I arrived an hour late to work.

Helped made trees,
helped photographed models,
helped doing slide layouts,
went home,
showered,
napped,
went out for dinner,
waited an hour for food,
had food,
got home,
watched an episode of Pretty Little Liars
(my current favourite show),
and finally KO-ed.

Saturday, today,
oh, so tiring as well!
Probably my first time missing Earth Hour since it started a few years back.
Darn it!

Attended the PAM Design Forum at BCCK from 8am up till 5pm,
and was on duty at the PAM booth till 9pm.
Soooooo tiring!!!

and now it's 10:40pm.
I think I'm gonna go KO in a bit.
Another full day at the PAM Booth tomorrow!

*faints*

DNA CNY Dinner 2011.

Say hello to my colleagues!
(omaigod, i have colleagues now!)
*gasps*

and goodbye to quite a few who're leaving after CNY.
Technically, they left already.
Sadness...

Nice knowing you all!
Looking forward to new trainees so I will no longer be the junior there.
hehe.

251210.

Christmas this year did not feel like Christmas at all.
It was filled with weddings and a lotttttt of new faces.
lol.

But the good news is,
I think my attempt with G11 was quite successful!
Photos soooooon!
=D

Merry Christmas, y'all!!

It's Halloween tonight,
I'm home alone

Sad case.

But anyhooo,
HAPPY HALLOWEEN
all the way from Melbourne!
tee hee.

So,
how cute is my incomplete Harry Potter-ish outfit?

and I sooo gotta learn how to do the smoky eyes myself!

UCI Weekend.

The UCI World Championship was held over here in Geelong two weeks ago.
Right outside my doorstep, literally.
haha.

That was probably my favourite-est weekend in Geelong since I came.
Damn happening!

Sadly,
panning experiment fail.

Desaturation, also fail.

On a side note,
I'm keeping my fingers cross for the bid tomorrow night!

=D

Fifty-third.

Merdeka Party @ Billboard.

Happy 53rd independence day, Malaysia.

Despite all the crap going on back home,
it is still my country.
and love or not,
it was still overwhelming to be surrounded by Malaysians.

We celebrated Merdeka Malaysian time.
and there was the Negaraku.

But boo to the fact that I celebrated with Mizz Nina and not Mia Palencia.
At least the friends were there.

200 VIC.

200 VIC

I will wake up and remember to breathe
Breathe in the fresh air that is nature's gift to us
I will walk the earth and remember its flora and fauna
and people are all part of a living community
I will acknowledge and follow the first protectors of this land
That the land that I walk upon should be treated with care and respect
I will recycle and reduce my waste and consumption
and remember that we all live on one planet
I will quench my thirst with water and remember that water is life
I will protect the precious resource our precious environment provides to us
Fulfill my commitment to ensure its safety
and remember that change starts with me.

- 200 VIC, Melbourne Open House 2010.

Tonight has been one of those unproductive nights.

Goodnight.

X-factor

First experience being in a live audience.

Started queuing at 10am for a show that starts at 12pm,
and 6 hours shooting for a 1 hour tv show.

Did loads of 'practice-cheers' and screams
to welcome the VIPs.

and
Phewww....!
it was tiring, alright.

There were cameras and crew everywhere!

Ronan Keating, Australia's Simon Cowell,
Guy Sebastian, Natalie Imbruglia.

We finally got in few hours later,
and did more practicing.

We practiced the
'OMG..you're good!' cheer,
'Boo..you suck!' cheer,
not forgetting,

'awwww........'

lol.

The Storm.

060310.

That was probably our luckiest day ever.

Not so lucky for Liyana and her friend. But it was still all good for us.
No one was hurt.

=)

It was supposed to be an eventful day, that day.

Shopping at Docklands,
Free lunch at the Malaysian BBQ,
Moomba Fest from evening onwards
and fireworks by the Yarra River at night!

Supposed to head straight down to the BBQ after Docklands but we got on the wrong tram.
Instead, it took us back home so we decided to drop off our shopping bags before we headed back out.

The moment we stepped into Febbie's apartment,
it all started.

Melbourne. 060310.
The Hailstorm

The hail was scaryyyy!!!

O_O

Liyana and her friend got caught in it on their run back home.
They managed to get back safely.

Thank God.

and we actually thought it was snowing!
haha.

Chocolate Almond

We couldn't head back out
so our lunch was ice-cream instead.

After it was all over,
we attempted to head out and at least make it to Moomba.

When I saw this 7-11,
Some kinda Final Destination scene came to mind.
lol

7-11

The electrical door wasn't working
and there was water leaking on the inside.

Let your imagination run wild.
haha.

Anyway,
we made it to Federation Square
but events were all cancelled.

Moomba- cancelled.

Everything was a mess!

The Aftermath.

But we got free ice though.
XD

After the Storm.
Hail.

It was all a very scary yet exciting experience.

I actually didn't know how bad it was until I googled up news about the storm.

=/

The rain has finally reached this part of Earth.

The Amazing Race by CU.

The team.

The team @ CU.
Katie, Jake, Me, Sun, Sarah and Gene!

We ran up and down four flights of stairs repeatedly,
We googled,
We did Sudoku,
We ate raw onions,
We chopsticked M&Ms (Asians rule! XD)
We ate lollies,
We threw tennis balls,
We guessed a song,
and we wrote a limerick
which goes like this;

There was a man named Bob
who was struggling to get a job.
He went to the show
and they said no go,
so he ran off to join the mob!

haha.

It was fun.
Tiring, but fun!
lol.

and the weather's warm tonight!

My Room and Orientation.

As I've mentioned on facebook,

everyone has started uni, and mine only starts next week!

So this week is just my O' Week.

We toured the uni,
had a welcoming speech by the Vice Chancellor and few other people,
got loads of freebies from societies and clubs,
and free lunch!

John Hays Courtyard

John Hays Courtyard

Free lunch was sponsored by Nando's and it was supposed to come by 11:30am.
It was already 12:00pm and I was hungry.
In the end, I wasted $6.60 on a meal from the cafeteria.

The free lunch only appeared after I finished my meal.

=(

Cafeteria

Cafeteria

Free lunch

Free lunch by Nando's.

Note the packet on the side that says
'Not for soft cocks.'

The lady at the Nando's booth told us it was free sauce, and urged us to grab one each.
(I think she did say free sauce. hmm...)

During lunch, I was happily searching for the packet assuming that it is free sauce.
(Sauces in Aussie don't come cheap.)

Guess what,
it turned out to be a packet of condom.

-.-"

and this is my room!

The Bedroom.

I realised I've never really showed how my accommodation looks like,
so here it is!

and p.s - the fireplace is REAL!

haha.

160110.

It was a masquerade party;
my cousin's 9th birthday.

Masquerade.

as for the both of us,
we had a job to do.

Body painting.

More like 'graffiti' on the childrens' arms,
because I don't think I work well with brushes.

Lucky the kids were all cute and well-behaved.
A boy was even nice enough to say my 'jet plane' on his arm was nice.
I, personally, thought it looked pathetic.

=X

My personal favourite,
Sun Woo.

Sun Woo.

Cousins.

She wanted a swan and another one with hearts and leaves.

It was also so cute of her to bring her shy cousin to me,
explained to her in Korean,
and told me to draw a swan and also hearts and leaves for her.

Cuteness!

(applies also when a bunch of them were explaining Wii Bowling to another girl in Korean)

Kids,
they may drive you up the wall,
and yet be so cute till can die.
lol.
