The Visual Folk Art Forum 2008!
Well, everything you wanna know is already written in the pamphlet. But just in case you don't feel like reading, here's a so-called 'summary' of the pamphlet. lol~
First of all, this forum is held in conjuction with the Rainforest World Music Festival 2008. It will be held at the Sarawak Cultural Village from the 10th of July till the 13th.
This forum, organised by Galleria will be showcasing the celebration of the people and the rich culture of the world. It includes Art Talk, as well as Workshop and Art Exhibition.
The theme of this event would be 'Our People, Our Culture' and it will be highlighting works of various Sarawak's artist.
As for the Art Talk and Forum, it will be conducted by renowned local and foreign artists, among them is Sylvester Jussem, and 'ang mo' speakers such as USA-based artist Stephen Bennet and an Irish sculptor, Daf. Sounds interesting, eh?? =)
Then there's another artist, Tan Wei Kheng, who's known for his skill in portraying finer details in his work and will be conducting the workshop.

P.S - There will be a participation fee of RM100 for the forum (Talks & Workshops with 2 teabreaks) and a pass to the exhibition.

and come on, lah..RM100 not much right?? Got 'ang mo' speakers (dunno eng tao or not lah), workshops, exhibition..free food! lol~
Besides, it's during RWMF! Can always join the party after the forum! (and of course, RWMF tickets not included in the RM100) hehe~
