Bananas!~

For lunch today, my mom decided to try out the new place located at Bormill. =)

Presenting.....

The Two Bananas!~

We arrived at about 12:20 PM and this was how it looked..

EMPTY! (Probably because it wasn't lunch hour yet - I escaped early from work) hehe~
and all along, I thought it was empty because the food wasn't good..hrmmm....

The interior was not as interesting as the name either.

As you guys can probably see from the picture, the whole place is painted red..no paintings/deco/whatsoever on the walls..just plain red! (kinda boring, I must say)

On the windows, there were pictures of the food served there, such as the Honey Salad Chicken that looked YUMMY!!~ (the first picture, IF IT CAN BE SEEN CLEARLY XD )

However, the pictures too were boring..it was clipped on by those normal metal clips you get from stationery shops, then hung on the windows by those suction cup hanger thingy you normally find in bathrooms. Well, I guess I can understand that they're trying to save cost and stuff considering it just opened like a few weeks ago.

Now, let's get to the food! hehehe....

Here's a shot of the menu featuring the Two Bananas! (cute eh??)  lol~

The menu had quite a lot of choices, Chinese style cooking that includes chicken, lamb, fish, sotong and of course veggie. (sorry, if I missed out anything)

The drinks were the normal ones you get in any coffeeshop plus a list of Power Juices, which I don't remember exactly how much they cost. (sorry again....am terribly bad at this)

Anyway, my mom and I ordered the Honey Salad Chicken as a starter, which ended up to be our dessert. -.-"

I ordered Kam Hiong Sotong with rice and my mom ordered Vietnamese Lamb with rice. Honestly, the food wasn't bad! (and at reasonable prices too!) I enjoyed both my Kam Hiong Sotong and my mom's Vietnamese sauce. (the lamb was a bit too chewy) As for the salad, it was a bit too sweet for my taste.

And as always, there SHALL be complaints..muahahahahaha!!~~

First of all, our starter ended up as our dessert, as mentioned above.

Secondly, my sotong was too little! I didn't get enough of its yummy-ness! lol~ (yeah..I liked the sauce..)

Lastly, the lamb was tough! I nearly choked when my mom gave me a piece to try.. =.=

But overall, the place really isn't that bad! Worth going back another time. =)

Cheers!!~

Btw, will be posting up an event soon! Just for your interest, it's about ART! - all art-lovers invited!!!! EVERYONE'S INVITED!!
