So, my answer to the most-embarrasing-moment-I've-experienced question:
Happily picking out tonnes of stuff from the supermarket,
got to the cashier,
checked out all the items
then discovering we didn't have money to pay for them.
The cashier had to close off the counter,
asked the rest of the queue to move on to another counter,
and finally announcing on the mic to get someone over to cancel our purchase
because, as she put it,
"They can't afford to pay for their things."
(She didn't say this on the mic of course)
But, omaigod.
Standing there while she does the cancelling and
explaining the situation to the other staff.
It was...
T_T
But thank God for immediate online cash transfer and my 1GB internet data,
we managed to pay for our groceries in the end.
haha.
and today,
I lost the bid for the very first item I fell head over heels in love with on eBay.
If you saw it,
I bet you will feel my heartache as well.
lol.
Darn that person who increased the bid $20 over my budget in the last 20 seconds.
GAH!
Damn heartbroken.
Crossing my fingers hoping I'll find another one of the exact same thing somewhere.
At a cheaper price, hopefully.
=(
