Road Trip!

Road Trip!

Destination:
Torquay Surf Beach!

=D

I've never been there,
so when Leila asked,
I said yes without hesitation!
lol

By the way,
Leila's a friend of my housemate.
An American, all the way from California!
Now, she's my new friend! hehe.

Leila drove,
and we got there in less than half an hour, I suppose.

The view there was awesome!!

Breathtakingly awesome!

Like..OMG awesome!!
haha

Torquay Surf Beach

and Josef was so excited he finally got to go surfing. lol.
Josef's my Swedish housemate.

=D

Josef

So, they went off to do their thing,

Josef and Leila

and I went off to explore and take pictures!
XD

Torquay was just a small secluded beach by itself, mainly for surfers.

So, I decided to follow the trail to Rocky Point.

I was so excited to see what they had at the end of the path, I ran.
lol.

It felt good, because the running eventually made me feel warmer.

From Rocky Point.

There was this viewing deck overlooking the sea and the rocks.

It was so pretty I could've just sat there and not go back.

But the wind was impossible to fight.
My camera almost flew away.

T_T

Wish you were here.

Wished you were there.
=)

After a while,
I decided to head back to the beach.

Lucky I did.
The moment I got there,
Leila was running towards me freezing cold.
(She lent me her jacket when she went surfing.)

Leila's a really cool person.

She rock climbs and she's in the search and rescue team working in mountainous places.

I don't know which part,
but she has loads of interesting stories.

and she's only 25!

After Josef was done,
there was the group photo/camwhoring session.

=P

I love my rotating LCD, although i thought it was a bit annoying at first.
hehe.

Then, Leila treated us for some snacks at Growlers.

The food was awesome!
haha.

Later on,
we also got to meet the mayor of Torquay Town.

and it was a lady, Libby.

She just got back from Europe,
and it was Dean who replaced her as mayor while she was gone.

Very nice people.

=)

To conclude,
it was indeed an evening filled with awesomeness!

I had assignments and CU meeting,
but I went to the beach instead.
=/

No regrets but I do feel a little bit guilty.
hmm...
