Three Days Ago...

The picnic that almost didn't happen, happened at Lake Gardens.

=)

It wasn't as big as expected,

but we still enjoyed it.

After our breakfast/lunch/brunch..whatever..

We headed off to the playground!

wheeee.......~

A really fun one too!

(no security guards chasing us off for being too old.)

We had fun playing like little kids,

running here and there,

climbing ladders,

camwhoring (like kids nowadays..lol)

sliding down slides,

swinging on swings.

duh..~

Come to think of it,

I've never actually been to a playground with a groups of friends.

Not even when I was young..

hmmm......~

(or maybe I did....)

Anywayyyy.....

After 'playground session',

the most anticipated part of the day finally came,

a.k.a the most romantic part of the day.

hehe.

We all went boating!

in couples! (not real couples though)

haha.

We thought it was easy-

rowing a boat, I mean.

Turned out to be tougher than expected.

lol.

But we managed, anyway.

and so did everyone else.

It was such an 'English-movie scene'.

Minus the gowns, white laced umbrellas, silk gloves, top hats, bow ties....

if you get what I'm imagining.

lol.

Yang and Harn were like the very Chinese couple.

and Li Qun...

Can qualify to be 'sampan man'.

(don't know what's the right term..but yeah...)

Row boat till Andrea also so happy.

haha.

and there was CW and YC,

the shy ones who arrived late,

and joined us in the lake after a little bit of persuasion.

and these two...

everybody wanna take up challenge to row boat,

they wanna take the easy way out and went pedalling instead.

Boating session was followed up by a small yum cha session down at the cafeteria

where we planned our next activity!

So,

will there be another Lake Gardens session next week?
