Of Greens and Golds.

Had a spontaneous trip to hike up to the peak of Broga Hills, Semenyih.

Forced ourselves to wake up at 3:30am with only an hour to sleep before that.

Left the house slightly after 4am.

Sherm and I met up with AaC and Gordon.

Breakfasted at 7-11.

Waited till 5am for the other half to arrive

but we left without them anyway.

lol.

The drive there was loooonggg......

Looking for signs leading to Kajang and Semenyih made me sleepier.

and

I think we got lost at certain parts,

but I was asleep in the car. heh.

Arrived just before sunrise.

We got to the first peak at about 7:30am.

It was kind of bright already, but we managed to catch the sun peaking out from behind the mountains.

My first time watching the sunrise from the top of a hill.

My first time hiking up to the peak of a hill actually.

The hike up was very tiring, especially when you're chasing the sunrise.

It was literally like a hike up an 80-degree slope. Or maybe 75 degrees.

lol.

But we made it anyway.

The trip down was literally a run down the hill.

The momentum just kept building up

and you just can't seem to stop till you reach the bottom.

Extremely tiring.

Gordon and AaC were too lazy, they took a slide down instead.

haha.

After the hike,

we lunched in Kajang.

and I don't seem to get what's so special about Kajang Satay?

hmm...

But I had a exhaustingly awesome day.

and I don't mind doing it again.
