More shots of Ipoh.
Again, a 2 weeks late post.hehe.
7th and 8th March, 10 of us headed back to Ipoh for more 'site analysis'.
1st group were AaronL, Clement, Sherman, Wen Harn and me.
Supposed to board the 6:20am train, but it got delayed till about 8am.
Malaysian timing..sigh~
All the precious sleep that we could have gotten, all wasted.
Anyway, we slept for about an hour+ on the train and the rest of the time, we monkeyed around the train like it was no one's business. haha!
We went from one end to the other and camwhored kao kao..lol.
(FYI, it was a 500m long train. Imagine how many kilometers we walked in the train already!)
XD
After we checked in and rested, we headed out for lunch.
The hotel lent us this 'cursed' book. haha.
It gave us loads of problems when it came to meal time. Too many places, too much food, too little time, and no transport.
Imagine how frustrating it was for us!
Oh, and we took public transport! The aunty on the bus was soooo friendly unlike drivers on Rapid KL buses.
-.-"
After lunch, Sherman, Wen Harn and me went of to Excelsior Hotel to try and get panoramic shots of Ipoh's landscape.
Then, there was Ipoh Parade!
Shoes...omg..!!
I spent my one and only hour in Ipoh Parade (probably less) in the shoe section of some Thai Expo. haha..
Had to head back to hotel to meet the 2nd group - Darren, Gordon, Li Qun and Wai Sie.
Hau Yee missed the train and her super cool mom drove her all the way to Ipoh!
How cool is that?!
It rained that night, and we went to this deserted area for dinner.
It wasn't really dinner.
(it cost us about an average of RM10 per taxi, one way, and we took THREE taxis!)
There were fried chicken, friend chicken skin, fried this, fried that..
Totally unhealthy!
(Thanks to Aaron L, probably the healthiest person in the whole bunch. How ironic.haha.)
The rain finally stopped, and we went out for a walk.
=)
Zone 8 - burnt building.
(pic taken by Sherman)
Zone 5 - Lam Loo King bazaar.

Amen! haha...
Alaaaa..stop making me feel bad bout the fried stuff..it was in the bk as places of attractions!=(
LoL!
I like this set of photo's of Ipoh, I enjoy the way you chose to avoid the hustle and bustle of city life and depicted Ipoh to be slow, rich and nostalgic.
Gets people in a certain mood. Very nice, I like!
