For our very first assignment for this semester, we have to, first, choose a building, get the plans or whatever drawing we can find, and abstract certain aspects of the building.
Example:
- massing
- form
- natural light
- symmetry
- hierarchy...so on , so forth..
Well, my teammates and I got the National Mosque. (the lecturer did it randomly, and we were happy to get that building.)
Problem now is, where can we get all the plans, sections, and elevation of the National Mosque??!!
Hrmm......~
All I can think of now is the big 'umbrella' roof....
