RainFest 2008~

Well, since almost everyone's read Kenny Sia's post on this year's Rainforest Festival, then there won't be much for me to blog about except for my very first experience at RWMF!! heeeeee... =D

After the Art Forum on the 10th, we still had to go up to Cultural Village because the art exhibition was still going on at the Orang Ulu house and we had to go look after the paintings, as well as entertain the visitors that came.

The road up to Cultural Village was closed right from Santubong Resort, but we had the RWMF car sticker, therefore, we could park at the official carpark right outside the Cultural Village (SCV). 

So..ada sticker ba..rasa special sikit, lah..no need to naik shuttle and stuff...

But when we arrived, this was what we got -

(but of course, better compared to walking a few kilometers up)

My first night there wasn't good. It was pouring from 8pm up till about 10pm! Didn't manage to go down to the field..boo-hoo!!~

But the second day was the most fun for me! hehe..

My sister came up with me, so it was me, my sis and my little cousin. =)

Because of the pouring rain on the first night, they had to cover up the mud with sand and sawdust. The whole place looks a bit like a beach (when you walk into the field at night lar) 

But I have no idea why the whole place stinks! urrghh!! It smelled more like cow dung than sand.. Yucks!!

Despite the stinky-ness, a lot of people were already reserving their spots as early 6pm! (and it usually starts around 7:30pm or 8pm) -.-"

and finally, our turn to go down to the field! Woo-hoo!!~ (Sakai ba..) XD

All of us had fun listening  and dancing to the music. If only it wasn't muddy and stinky, my cousin would have probably sit there a little longer instead of bugging us to go somewhere else and sit. XD

On the 3rd day, we had our face painted, and got a sampan ride on the XPAX sampan. lol~

Well, nothing much happened on the 3rd day except that we went up with our three other cousins and I met Nurul, as well as Adrian, where as Nic Ang was there with her other friends! And it rained again that night, and I saw Kenny Sia..lol~

But sad to say, we didn't manage to watch the finale! Dang it!!~

We all had lotsa fun though...obviously.. XD

and if I were to blog about every single thing, it would take me ages to upload all the photos....
